FLYING winger Ryan Williams firmly believes Mansfield Town can catch Blue Square Premier leaders Oxford and seal automatic promotion.
The Field Mill club has reduced the gap on Oxford to seven points following their recent six game unbeaten run.

And with confidence high in the camp Williams is hoping Stags can make good use of back-to-back home games and make further in-roads into that gap.

"We cannot take our foot of the gas and ease off because we have Oxford in our sights," said Williams.

"We have beaten them at our place and we know they are beatable because there are no easy games in this division.

"The gap is seven points right now but if we can put a few more wins together then it could soon be four points.

"What happened to Burton last season is a great example. They had a massive lead and were very nearly caught, so Oxford cannot afford to ease off either

"There are a lot of games still left and a lot of points left to play for.

Stags face Eastbourne Borough on Saturday and will be without the injured Jake Speight, Gary Mills and the suspended Gary Silk
