AFTER a season spent largely as second choice, Stags goalkeeper Jason White finds himself in the thick of the relegation action at crunch time.
Last weekend against Shrewsbury he was hero and villain as he let in a soft early goal only to produce a crucial save near the end.

Today Chad spoke to White in an exclusive video interview about his disappointment of not becoming Field Mill number one this season, the Shrewsbury game and the pressures of the relegation battle.

  • The Shrewsbury game is discussed in this week's Stags Talk show. Click here to listen.

After the early goal he was a real hero on Saturday against Shrewsbury, a great save second half! Keep it up Jason!

I dreaded the worst on saturday after seeing there goal in, but then i watched the highlights and realised i was wrong to criticise jason for it as it took a deflection which meant he wouldnt of got it. Other than that mistake he was brilliant.

I was one of the fans slagging Jason off after the goal at the weekend.
After seeing the replay a number of times it clearly wasn't his fault.

I still think it WAS an error by Jason ,but, DONT WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES?????????? Thats life & as long as we learn from them no one can ask for more.I thought he had a good game after that mistake.KEEP TRYING JASON. Seems ROTHERHAM are well in the thick brown smelly stuff according to ITV text.Backers have pulled out & they could close IMMEDIATELY, per the Aministrator!!!!!!!!!!!Does anyone know what will happen if they do fold. Please reply

I wouldn't bank on them going under. There was a story going round only last Friday saying a bidder had until 5pm to place there bid and then 5 dropped up in the last min.
IF it did happen before sat then surely Mansfield would have to be given the points and maybe only let one team go down.

i think they would only let 1 team go down and that would be wrexham.
