VETERAN Stags boss Billy Dearden enjoyed his touchline celebrations as much as any young mananger as Stags stole a last gasp goal to win 2-1 at relegation rivals Lincoln on Tuesday night.
"It was a nice time to score a winner or a goal of any kind if it is going to get you a result," he smiled.

  • Lincoln City 1 Mansfield Town 2

"I showed a bit of pace on the touchline when it went in - more than I did in my playing days! But I was a bit emotional as it was a great time to score.

  • Boro display was boost we needed - Boulding

"Lincoln set off very well and had a good chance in the first two or three minutes which Carl (Muggleton) made a good save from.

"They had chances in the second half but we came closest and Ian Holmes hit the bar before Mickey got his second goal.

"We gave the ball away too many times for my liking which isn't like us. But we stuck at it and I was very pleased.

"That's two away League wins on the bounce though it wasn't as comfortable as the win at Chester.

"It was hard work. We didn't pass the ball as sharply as we did on Saturday but we ratted a bit and battled out a result.

"There were one or two good performances out there but we did look a bit jaded after Saturday."
