MANSFIELD Town are taking their Season Ticket campaign on the road in and around Mansfield, Ashfield and its surrounding areas - and a new date has been added for Bank Holiday Sunday.
The roadshow will now also be at the Swan pub's car park area on Saturday, from 3-5pm - and beyond if there is demand.

At the start of last month, the club announced that they would be slashing season ticket prices for next season should they reach the target of 3,000 in adult buyers.

To learn more about the scheme, where adults pay just £195 for a season ticket, visit the club's website – www.mansfieldtown.net.

On Monday the number of tickets sold overall was around 1,000.

The club's showgirls will be in attendance at the venues below along with some of the players to help complete the forms.

Below is the itinerary for the club's "Season Ticket Road Shows" which will mount between now and the end of the month.

Hurrah for that!! This is just what the Doctor ordered - get in the faces of the people of Mansfield and lets hit the 3,000 mark. It's a positive step (and what everyone on here has being saying for a while) - let's just hope we get a fantastic response. Up the Stags!!

I'm not sure it a good idea saying where they will be on a particular day. All those "i'll sign up tomorrow" fans will be able to avoid it. Much better to surprise them and see them squirm. C'mon you fans - sign up or don't dare moan if the club folds.

Great News, but again only target individuals.

Any plans to hit the 6000+ businesses? What a way to get companies to buy one and reward an employee with use of the season ticket for a game. Nice little incentive when a pay rise may have not been delivered due to the financial situation we are in. £200 to company is not a big an issue as it may be to family struggling to pay the morgage.

I'm not being negative here, just hoping the stags reach the target and we all are happy.

Come on Ashfield & Mansfield lets go for it.

Further to the last post, why not list every company over say, two pages in the programme every home game whom take Perry & co up on the offer. This would be subtle advertising for the individual companies who are showing support in the local football team. It would cost MTFC and the individual companies next to nothing to do this.

Ashfield VOR & Cotswold Stag, can i suggest that you & EVERYONE ELSE keep posting ideas on this site, even if they seem pointless, because i strongly suspect they ARE being read, by someone at the Club.
Otherwise,is it purely coincidence that the Club are doing this `Road show`,or is because of suggestions that have been made on here?
Who knows?....But if it is,lets try to think of anything that will help the Club get as many ticket sales as possible.

Onwards & Upwards!!!!

Does the Club still sponser the Mansfield Youth League?
If not, then they could do so & insist that part of the deal will be to allow their Cup Finals etc to be played at the Mill.Put cash into the League, but insist that each Club must buy 2 or 3 Season Tickets.Does the Youth League play on a Saturday? If so,give them a cash incentive to play Saturday mornings or Sunday, which would allow parents & players to attend the Stags games. This might already happen.I dont know!
