LONG-TERM injury victim Jonathan D'Laryea missed out on a place on the substitutes' bench for this afternoon's local derby with Notts County.
D'Laryea will feature in a specially arranged midweek reserve game, however, and hopes to be in the squad at Shrewsbury next weekend.

Another injury victim, Gareth Jelleyman, did return from a lay-off as a substitute.

Otherwise the Stags were unchanged from the side which earned a well deserved 1-1 draw at Barnet a week earlier.

County, who appointed new manager Ian 'Charlie' McParland just 48 hours earlier, included former Stags Kevin Pilkington and Neil Mackenzie in their line-up.

MANSFIELD TOWN: Muggleton, Mullins, Buxton, John-Baptiste, Martin, Hamshaw, Bell, Dawson, Arnold, Brown, Boulding. Subs: White, Jelleyman, Holmes, McAllister, Sleath.

NOTTS COUNTY: Pilkington, McCann, Tann, Mackenzie, Dudfield, Parkinson, Silk, Mayo, Hunt, Weir-Daley, Butcher. Subs: Sandercombe, Somner, Sam, Austin, Weston.
