MANSFIELD Town's FA Cup clash with Premiership Middlesbrough WILL be shown live on BBC 1.
The match will now kick-off at 12.30pm on Saturday 26th January and lands the club a £150,000 windfall - leaving it with around a £400,000 bonus from the competition so far this season.

It is the second time this season a Stags' FA Cup tie has been screened live by Match Of The Day, following the Second Round clash at Harrogate.

  • Stags to face Premiership side in FA Cup

Yesterday the FA said that the TV companies would not be making a decision until next week's replays, but today the Beeb changed its mind.

It sees the Fourth Round clash between a side second bottom in the Football League and one struggling in the Premiership as a potential giantkilling.

  • Urgent meeting to try to raise capacity

It will be the first time the BBC has screened a match at Field Mill live.

Chief executive Stephen Booth said: "It is wonderful news for the club."
