STAGS defender Alex John-Baptiste has finally joined Blackpool - a move first reported at Chad.co.uk on Sunday.
The want-away player has signed a two-year deal, after leaving Mansfield Town for an undisclosed fee.
Chad.co.uk revealed at the weekend that he was set to sign for the Championship club after holding talk with the Seasiders.

John-Baptiste (22) was one of a handful of players still under contract after relegation at the end of the season, but quickly handed in a transfer request - saying he wanted to remain in the Football League.
The Ollerton player, a product of the youth policy at Field Mill, made more than 200 appearances for the Stags and had signed a three-year deal just 12 months earlier.
At that time a move to Crewe for around £150,000 had been rumoured, but when he handed in his transfer request it was revealed that the Stags would accept £75,000 for a quick sale.
However, Chad understands that Blackpool were not asked to match that valuation with the initial fee.
John-Baptiste told
Blackpool's official website: "I'm really delighted. I just can't wait to start training and get underway.
"I'm really excited about this move and I'm looking forward to great things."
