BILLY McEwan is looking forward to being part of the battle of the Scots in Nottinghamshire this season.
Although all in very different leagues, Forest (Colin Calderwood), Notts County (Ian McParland) and Stags are all being managed by North of the Border bosses this coming season and a tongue-in-cheek McEwan said: "That will be good for the county of Nottinghamshire!

"It is just how it has worked out. I know Charlie very well at Notts County and I am sure all three of us will keep an eye on who is highest in their respective leagues and keep the flag flying.

"I am sure we can have a competition just to see who can shout the loudest!

"Of course I used to work with the county's old Scottish master Jimmy Sirrell who was an absolute legend.

"I am sure Sir Alex Ferguson will be very proud of us all!"
