MANSFIELD Town's new owners are delighted after selling 831 tickets in just a week.
The trio of businessmen who bought the football club 10 days ago put the tickets on sale last Saturday.

And inside the first week 831 tickets - far more than at this time last season - were sold as fans took advantage of an early bird discount offer.

Now, after requests from holidaying supporters, the Stags has given fans who bought season tickets last season until Friday 18th July at 5pm to renew their tickets.

Chairman Andy Perry told the club's official website mansfieldtown.net: "I am totally overwhelmed by the support shown by the fans."

The news follows a busy weekend at Field Mill where 100 fans helped the new owners - Perry, Andy Saunders and Steve Middleton - in a big clean-up at Field Mill.

So we have surpassed what Haslam sold last season inside a week,no suprise there eh! Just shows what a little bit of belief does for the Club,Supporters and Town doesnt it. Then there are all those on thier hols to come back and renew also. The future looks bright the future looks AMBER and BLUE. The sun is shining over the Mill as I look out my window, and the weather man says the clouds have moved to the Calver region of Derbyshire and its gonna chuck it down. BRILL....
