STAFF at Mansfield Town FC will on Tuesday officially meet new chief executive Stephen Booth.
Mr Booth took over the day-to-day running of the club from owner Keith Haslam last Tuesday in a surprise move in the Stags sale saga.

He will now try to stablise the club and also seek a buyer, after the James Derry consortium's bid was rejected.

Mr Booth - who will be attending a Football League meeting on Monday - told Chad: "There will be a thorough review of the financial structure and the way we work.

"I am meeting all the staff on Tuesday and will be having one-to-one meetings with the key people.

"We need to rebuild what I would call Mansfield's second team - those who work behind the scenes.

"From the people I have met so far we have some very, very able and committed staff who have worked wonders in a difficult situation.

"But they have lacked elements of leadership and we have got to get that leadership back in place and them working as a team."
