BLUE Square Conference general manager Dennis Strudwick has denied Mansfield Town manager Billy McEwan's claims he was fined £100 for not wearing the customary Umbro sponsor's shirt in the recent game at Salisbury.
McEwan told journalists he was furious over the fine last week but Strudwick told yesterday's Non League Paper that McEwan's claim was 'not true'.

Strudwick said he had received a report about McEwan not wearing the shirt and had asked Mansfield Town to ensure he wears it from now on, but no fine had been issued.
