STAGS manager Billy McEwan took his tally of summer signings to 15 when four players agreed terms on Friday afternoon.
Strikers Anthony Robinson and Aaron O'Connor, midfielder Tom Shaw and keeper Luke Herriott will all go into the squad for tomorrow's first League match of the season at Ebbsfleet.

They had been on trial at Field Mill for the past couple of weeks and join two other players - Alex Jeannin and long-term loanee Paddy Gamble - to have signed on the dotted line this week.

Nottingham-born former Grays striker O'Connor had limited Football League experience when he was released by Scunthorpe after three substitute appearances in 2003.

However, the pacy O'Connor (24) was a Gresley Rovers hot shot, struck 80 goals in 127 games with Rovers and won their Player of the Year twice in as many seasons.

O'Connor - 25 on the day of the Ebbsfleet match - has also had spells with Ilkeston Town, Scunthorpe United, Nuneaton Borough and latterly Blue Square Premier rivals Grays.

He first featured for the Stags in the 3-2 home defeat by Derby two weeks ago.

Tom Shaw (21), a midfielder, left Rushden in the summer after 50 games and has featured for the Stags since the beginning of pre-season.

Keeper Herriott (17) has been training at Field Mill this summer, while Robinson (27) has joined from Blue Square Premier rivals Kettering.

It's the eve of the new season and I'm proper excited!!! Just signed up for Setanta sports for the BSP coverage - which I understand is top drawer. Can't get to the Ebbsfleet game but hoping to see a bumper crowd on Tuesday night against Histon. Four home games this month - ahhhh heaven!!! Home shirt should be available in about 3 weeks according to the club shop. Best of luck for tomorrow lads - C'MON YOU STAGS!!!

Starting on Tuesday and the home game against Histon.
Let's make it fortress Field Mill again. Billy's doing his bit. Lets do our's and get behind the player's and the staff at every game.

TOTALLY agree with Adam 999, the club on and off the pitch have improved it's now upto the people of mansfield to support the club. Having just watched Barrow and Oxford it is very important that we establish a good home record. However apparently Adie Moses has said that Billy has always had a good away record and we all know that our home form cost us any chance of survival last season. My concern is have we replaced players like Dawson, Hamshaw, Mullins, Bap and Bell who were part of the team that did take us down BUT we on their day good players. I fear a lack of quality against teams who will come to Field Mill and defend for a point. GOOD LUCK MTFC
