A first half defensive howler by captain Adie Moses left the Stags trailing at half-time in their debut live on Setanta Sports TV on Tuesday evening.
Moses' backward header to keeper Paddy Gamble allowed Sodje to pounce in the 34th minute.

But Michael Blackwood rescued a ppint with a second half leveller.

Striker Jason Lee was missing for the Stags, the only change from Saturday's fourth successive home win, after failing to shake off an injury picked up while shooting during the 1-0 win over Grays.

Aaron O'Connor, who had been ineligible for that match, came into the side for the clash at York as the Stags looked for their first away win of the season.

YORK CITY: Ingham, Purkiss, Robinson, McGurk, Parslow, Sodje (Bore 54mins), Greaves, McBreen, Russell, Wilkinson, Brodie. Subs: Kelly, Farrell, Mimms, Shepherd.

MANSFIELD TOWN: Gamble, Silk, O'Hare, Moses, Jeannin, Arnold, Somner, D'Laryea, Blackwood, Stallard, O'Connor (Robinson 75mins). Subs: Shaw, Hurran, Trimmer, Herriott.

REFEREE: Mr Jake Collin.

6mins: Sodje drive blocked by the diving Gamble to keep the Stags level.

22mins: McBreen curled well wide for York when well placed from Sodje's good pass.

28mins: Sodje's cross-shot just wide as York press again.

35mins: GOAL! Sodje makes it 1-0 to York after a defensive howler by Adie Moses.

47mins: A fine save by the diving Ingham denies the Stags an equaliser from a free kick.

51mins: GOAL! O'Connor's 18 yard drive smashes against the post and Michael Blackwood reacts the quickest to equalise.

59mins: Stags survive loud penalty appeals as McBreen goes down on the edge of the area.

73mins: Terrific save by Gamble denies Brodie as the Stags hang on.

78mins: Blackwood fires wide when well placed to win it for the Stags.

79mins: Remarkable escape for the Stags as three headers are blocked in a scramble in the goalmouth with Gamble outstanding.

80mins: Double save by Gamble again rescues the visitors as York finish the stronger.

85mins: Greaves' header ruled out for climbing as the home side thought they had won it.

What can you say about young "Gamble", pulling three great saves off in succesion. Maybe Billy Mc ought to think about signing the boy on permenant. A fair result on the night and "Stags" players can be proud of the performance tonight. Pity about the first goal though, a gift to York. It came right though one point is better then none at all and keeps us well up there in third place in the table.
KEEP IT UP BOYS!!!!!!!!

Not sure Moses is it at fault for their goal as Gamble came out and was at an unachievable angle for Moses to head back to, bad positioning from Gamble IMO.

Having said that, Gamble was fantastic in the 2nd half and made a terrific triple save and i was very pleased for him.

Great performance from the stags tonight - roll on saturday and another home win please ;)

Sorry Chad,NO WAY COULD THAT BE THE FAULT OF MOSES!!!
Paddy came out of his box & should have shouted instructions to Moses!!!!
Not having a go at Paddy, because he was superb apart from that "Jason" moment.
