STAGS skipper Jake Buxton reckons the side may have an extra passenger on their coach to Shrewsbury on Saturday – Lady Luck.
Very little has gone their way all season, but Buxton felt in Saturday's win against Notts County, it seemed things may just be starting to turn for the better.

"It was a great result at the weekend, something the club really needed," he said.

"We need to build on that clean sheet. We have been down on confidence and not had the rub of the green. We had conceded a lot of goals when we have been attacking.

"But on Saturday everything dropped to our feet and I think Lady Luck was on our side. Now we need to take her with us on Saturday.

"We have picked up a bit of momentum. But this is a massive game for us. We need three points at Shrewsbury.

"We are trying not to look at the league but know we have to get off the bottom.

"And we have players coming back to fitness now – players always start wanting to be fit when you are winning!

"Shrewsbury have lost their last three home games and hopefully they are on the slippery slope. If we can beat them they will be three points closer to us and, hopefully, soon we can bypass them."
