FANS attending Saturday's game between Chesterfield and Mansfield Town have been warned by police to steer clear of causing trouble.
The match at Saltergate is all-ticket for Mansfield fans and extra officers have been drafted in to police the match.

Kick-off for the game has been moved forward to 1pm to reduce the risk of disorder.

Said matchday police commander Chief Supt Mike Usherwood: "There has been some history of disorder between a minority of fans from both sides and we will be taking a firm approach to anyone who seeks to cause trouble.

"The last thing we want to do is have to lock people up the weekend before Christmas but if there are people who want to come to this match intent on creating disorder we will have no hesitation in arresting them.

"We are aware this is a keenly contested local derby and we hope both sets of fans will treat it in the right spirit and enjoy the rivalry and occasion but stay on the right side of the law."
