STAGS boss Billy Dearden got exactly what he ordered - and more - today as his side beat Notts County 2-0, chalking up a rare clean sheet in the bargain.
Dearden challenged his men to produce their first clean sheet for 20 games today and take it from there.

But a brace of goals from Michael Boulding at the other end were the icing on the cake.
Dearden said: "That was a very good result for us.
"We have played a lot better than that and not won this season.
"We didn't play particularly well today, though we had good spells. But our distribution sometimes let us down, particularly in the first half.
"Notts played some good football but didn't really hurt us. They didn't cause our keeper too many problems and I can't remember him having any fantastic saves to make.

"Notts had good situations but didn't capitalise.
"I was pleased for Mickey Boulding to score twice. I have always said his pace down the centre will cause problems."
Dearden joked: "If he keeps scoring like this, I will have to sell him!"
The manager added: "And I was pleased for the lads to get a clean sheet at last too. I love clean sheets and it's been a long time since we had one.
"That's not just the keeper and back four. We all attack together and we all defend together and they are chuffed to bits.
"We are on a big run now of a win and a draw! Hopefully now we can get cracking and got off the bottom as soon as possible."
New Notts boss Ian McParland said: "I have learned lots today, though it will stay in the dressing room.
"But they do have to work on their confidence. You could se it drain from them when the first goal went in.
"I was really disappointed to lose. We were well in the game until the penalty. Then the lads seemed to panic a bit.
"It was evenly matched until then. It was one of those games that I thought whichever team scores the first goal will go on to win the game.
"I can't remember Mansfield troubling our keeper apart from the two goals. Mistakes lose you games and that's what happened."
