STAGS midfielder Stephen Dawson WILL play in the Christmas match with promotion chasing Peterborough.
The Irishman picked up a bruised ankle in the 2-0 defeat at Chesterfield on Saturday, but has shaken off the injury in time for the Boxing Day visit of the Posh to Field Mill.
However, full back Dan Martin - missing recently through a hamstring injury - is still doubtful, while Lee Bell after his operation will also miss out.
