Sleath out on loan, but otherwise quiet on deadline day at the Mill

YOUNG Stags midfielder Danny Sleath has joined Boston United on a month's loan ahead of tonight's transfer window deadline.
But, otherwise it looks unlikely there wil be any other movement.
"I have had one or two bits and bobs but nothing has materialised," said boss Billy Dearden.
"I can't see anyone coming in or out today. The only thing that might happen is that I may let another of the younger players go out on loan to a non-League club to get games.
"And that can happen after today anyway.
"We have players like Martin McIntosh coming back which is like having a new player and Simon Brown will be back in two or three weeks as well.
"I have had one or two enquiries about players which you always get. But I can't see anything happening."
On his move, Sleath (20) said: "My priority is to play here at Mansfield but I want to play football and need to get some first team games under my belt.
"Ironically I made my debut for Mansfield against Boston, but I trust Billy Dearden as to where he sends me so I'm sure this will give me some good experience."
"Boston are a good club who have suffered hard times recently, and I hope to help them in anyway I can.
"I'll still be training with the Stags' first team during the day, and then link up with Boston maybe a couple of nights a week, but I'm looking forward to challenge and it will hopefully put me in good stead to get in to Mansfield's starting 11 when I return."
Sleath has made two starts and five substitute appearances for Mansfield this season.
The midfielder is eligible to play in the Conference North side's away match at Gateshead this Saturday.
