STAGS midfielder Jon D'Laryea - who has just chalked up his 100th match in a Stags shirt - admitted on Saturday night that the 2-2 draw with Barnet felt more like a defeat.
The Stags let a 2-0 lead slip in the last 20 minutes as old boy Adam Birchall grabbed a 77th minute equaliser to dent Mansfield's hopes of avoiding relegation.

Afterwards D'Laryea said: "We had chances at 2-0 to kill off the game and we were a bit unlucky with our finishing.

"At first it felt like a defeat, but then the gaffer said we must take the positives out of this."

County dropped three points Saturday leaving a three point gap still, those two extra points would have made a world of difference. But keep on picking up points and we can do it. Stags win, County loss is required next game I'm afraid!
