GARETH Jelleyman was today handed the responsibility of taking over from suspended central midfielder Stephen Dawson.
He was named alongside Jonathan D'Laryea at the heart of the midfield in another changed Stags line-up for the match against Accrington Stanley.

  • Dawson leaves big hole to fill

Jelleyman is fast becoming Mr Versatile at the Mill. The left back has been the left sided midfielder for many matches and on Boxing Day switched to centre half.

However, with Jake Buxton returning from illness, Jelleyman was free to move into the midfield.

With centre half Alex John-Baptiste again missing with a back injury, the experienced Martin McIntosh retained his place in the defence.

  • Captain 50-50 for return

MANSFIELD TOWN: Muggleton, Mullins, McIntosh, Buxton, Martin, Hamshaw, D'Laryea, Jelleyman, Arnold, McAliskey, Boulding M. Substitutes: White, Brown, Wood, Boulding R, White.
