MANSFIELD Town striker Jason Lee believes Tuesday's embarrassing defeat at Altrincham could be the spark Stags need to magic up their first away win of the season at Salisbury City this Saturday.
In this audio interview with Chad sports editor John Lomas the former top flight hit man also talks about dropping out the League to play at Conference level, his early season injuries and his admiration for the job Billy McEwan has done so far.

After Tuesdays performance, i have my doubts. Complacency and the lack of competition for places fuels my concern.
Until we have a strong midfield we will continue to struggle

Jasons last comment on the interview said an awful lot about the teams mental state at Altrincham. 'We play alot better against the teams up and around us. when we go to Salisbury we'll be up for it.
So they were not up for it on Tuesday. Seems very similar to last seasons mentality and look what that did for us.
Jason in case you aint realised it to get out of this awful awful league you have to be up for EVERY FLIPPIN GAME whether its Lewes away on a freezing cold night or Camebridge on a sunny afternoon, EVERY game mate. So go in tomorrow and tell the rest of the players that fact will you.
You have talked the talk on the interviews and radio same as they all did last season saying this and that and the other but come matchday fell flat on their faces. What we the supprters need to know from the players is can you walk the walk CONSISTENTLY JASON.
Go on buddy make my day.

I have just got back from America after two weeks. When i left we were top of the league and things were positive. On my return i cant beleive it.That house builder is still poking his fingers in.The signed and sealed done deal with the new owners is far from over. The team have had a brain f-rt.The teams which were giving us loan players at the drop of a phone call have vanished. We lose to Crawley Town and Altringham those two great footballing sides. This is turning into another very bad dream.
