WOULD-BE Stags owner John Batchelor created a massive outcry on Friday when details of his plan to rename Mansfield Town as Harchester United - the fictional team in Sky TV soap opera Dream Team - were made public.
Mr Batchelor says the move would attract national exposure for the club and help to bring in much needed sponsorship and commercial revenue.

But the Football League, Stags fans and mayor Tony Egginton have all reacted in horror to the news.

Click on the green play icon to hear an interview with Mr Batchelor by 103.2's Tony Delahunty. The interview was first broadcast on the local radio station's Friday evening sports show.
