Team tents and trade tents lined the track and banners added to the colourful spectacle.
More than 400 riders, the cream of the country's talent, took part in the event.
Feedback has been very positive and hopefully the Mansfield club will get to host another national event in the future.
Saturday's racing kicked off with the novice team championship. This was an unusual addition to a National event and was a huge success.
Twelve teams of novice riders took part, giving these less experienced riders a taster of competing at a national event.
It was a very competitive event with Mansfield being victorious by just two points and another local club, Bulwell Outlaws, having to settle for second.
The Mansfield riders were Jake Gwillam, Jamie Evans, Kane Quible and Luke Ryder. They all received individual trophies and prizes while the club received a huge team trophy.
In the main event, Mansfield's Matt Ryder, taking a break from his motocross commitments, managed a third in 30-39 cruiser (a cruiser is a bit like a BMX but with larger 24 inch wheels).
Mansfield also had Liam Batey racing in the Elite class. This is the top class where the riders have an astonishing turn of speed and some huge jumps being undertaken, particularly by Anthony Tuffs from Chesterfield club. Liam managed a fifth on Saturday and eighth on Sunday.
Mansfield's Daniel Gregory also managed to make it to the B Final in the 15/16 yrs Male Experts.
