Rascals set early pace in Division One of Mansfield Table Tennis League

Conrad Stoddart won player of the match in his first match of the season for the league leaders Rascals as he guided them to a 9-1 win over Jacksdale B in Division One of the Mansfield Table Tennis League.

Rascals now have 19 points after two matches as they set the early pace.

Kerry Harvey led Jacksdale A to their second successive 8-2 victory with a win over Ravenshead Riots.

Dean Brookes, with a player of the match performance, once again backed up by the 100 per cent record of Joe Zygadlo led Zygabyte A to a 9-1 victory over Zygabyte B.

In Division Two Stan Zygadlo, making is debut for Boothys Ravens, won all his games 3-0 and guided his team to a 7-3 victory over NewCross Snipers.

This is two wins in four days for the Ravens and makes them early Division Two league leaders.

Lisa Lewis performed once again for the Angels coming home unbeaten in their 6-4 win over Jacksdale D.

Wednesday’s night match ended early withall the singles between Hucknall 50+ & Zygabyte Old Bats being won 3-0.

Nigel Stent maintainied his 100 per cent record as he led the Old Bats to a 6-4 victory.
