KIRKBY swim star Ollie Hynd grabbed a terrific gold medal at the Paralympic Games on Wednesday evening.
Ollie, who had already won silver and bronze medals at the London spectacular, triumphed in the SMB 200m individual medley - finishing in 2.24.63, a personal best.
Afterwards a beaming Ollie said: “I’m Paralympic champion. I can’t believe it, I’m over the moon.”
Ollie again pipped his brother Sam in the final - after they had both qualified from the same heat this morning.
Sam, a bronze medallist last week, finished just outside of the medal places in fourth, with a time of 2.28.07.
