Ollerton played Rolls Royce at home in their first Midland 5 league game and won 25-14, clinching the four try bonus point in the process.
It was stalemate for the first 20 mins before Ollerton were awarded a penalty which man of the match Alex Berry converted.
A good Forward drive from Skipper Jim Wigglesworth set the backs alight and wing Eric Cranmer scored a try outwide. Then just before the break centre Chris Wildgust scored a good individual try to give his side a 13-0 lead at half-time.
In the second half it was a different story. Royce came out of the blocks and scored two excellent tries through the middle of the park, converting them both to take the lead.
Ollerton never panicked and moved the ball more wisely, this resulted in a try for centre Simon Hayward with fly-half Berry converting. The last 10 was close and lock Darren Wilford was unlucky not to score after a driving maul.
The resulting scrum gave Ollerton the ball and quick hands saw Cranmer score his second of the day to seal the game.
