Following fantastic support from Mansfield businesses and the community, Mansfield swim star Charlotte Henshaw was presented with a high tech iPad that will help her keep her home town up to date with the Paralympics.

Currys Mega Store in Mansfield donated software that will allow Charlotte to send photos via the most up to date technology. Charlotte will head off to the Paralympics in August.

Raj Krishan from ACE ABC Taxis said: “Having a person do what Charlotte has done throughout her whole life, spending most of her time in a swimming pool and to do this for Mansfield and her country is just unbelievable. I along with many others are so proud of her.”

John Coxhead, of Ashfield School, said: “Due to popular demand we intend to organise another event to show Charlotte Mansfield people support her all the way.”
