Greg Owen produced what may have been the round of his life in the PGA Tour Final Qualifying Tournament at PGA West in California on Monday.

After five rounds the Coxmoor star was well off the pace, going into the closing 18 holes at five under par, knowing he needed to shoot a low score to get into the top 25.

And he did just what was needed with a closing round of five under par 67 that lifted him to a share of 18th place at 10 under par after six rounds of pressure golf.

With that he regained his status back into the Premier Division of PGA golf for next year after one year on the Nationwide Tour.
