Ashfield RUFC travel to Rolls Royce RUFC this weekend knowing that nothing but a win will be good enough.

Third-placed Rolls Royce host second-placed Ashfield in the stand out fixture in Division Midlands 4 East (North) on Saturday.

Seven points currently separate the two teams and Ashfield will be determined to maintain their recent good form that has seen the team win five in a row.

Director of Rugby Mark Denman said: “We have played some difficult games of late and the team has shown a great deal of character and determination to put this five game unbeaten run together.

“The whole team were fantastic last week. The forward’s did the hard work for the backs to cut loose and steal the glory, we will certainly be looking for a repeat performance and outcome tomorrow at Rolls Royce.”

There are no fresh injury worries for Ashfield, who should have a full strength squad to choose from which will again prove a difficult selection problem for the selection committee.

However Ashfield have strength in depth with a nucleus of 20 to 22 players, each capable of earning a starting position.
