Ashfield RUFC are confident of victory when they face Cleethorpes despite have selection issues.
Matches between the two have been close in recent season and another similar match is expected this weekend.
Ashfield emerged 27-25 at home back in mid-October, where Gareth Purnell’s penalty secured the points for Ashfield.
Mark Denman, Director of Rugby, said: “We have a strong squad available with some new faces despite recent injury worries. Through some good individual second team performances, players have been promoted into Saturday’s squad”
“Irrespective on who travels the assembled squad should have the quality required to put in a match winning performance, Mark Denman and the coaching staff have challenged the squad to make every effort to make themselves available.
“We are no different to other amateur clubs and we won’t know who we have until we arrive at Cleethorpes due to possible work commitments.”
With the season entering the business end, it is vital Ashfield do not lose ground on leaders Belper and third place Rolls Royce.
The top three teams are playing away on Saturday, with Buxton hosting Belper and Long Eaton hosting Rolls Royce.
