Teversal Football Club are looking for coaches and players for a new under-7 team for the 2016/17 season.

The opportunity is open for a minimum of two coaches to develop a new team for the U7s for the new season and have the opportunity to progress the players from the current Tots training sessions and any new players that join from now that are aged five or six.

Players who are eligible are invited to attend the current Tots training sessions held on a Monday night at Quarrydale School Large Sports Hall. To be eligible to play in the U7s next season any child will currently be five or six-years-old and be under the age of seven on the September 1, 2016.

A statement from the club read: “Anyone who may be interested in the coaching post will have to be enthusiastic, available to attend training sessions and matches.

“Additionally they will have or have a willingness to work towards a minimum of an FA Level 1 Coaching Qualification and become a member of the FA License Coaches Club and maintain their membership through continued professional development and ensure relevant qualifications remain valid.

“In return the club will offer funding opportunities to support the right candidate/s with gaining and maintaining their qualifications and provide the equipment to deliver challenging but rewarding training sessions and planning for matches to meet the club’s progressive aims.”

All those interested can contact secretary and Tots coach Kevin Newton on 07711 358060 or email Kevin.Newton@Teversalfc.co.uk.
