The last few remaining places are up for grabs in the latest Mansfield Six-a-Side League, which gets under way this month.
Teams are being urged to snap up their spot in the ever-popular and award-winning league, which is run by the national franchise, Leisure Leagues.
This season’s Tuesday evening league, which is professionally organised, takes place at the Brunts Academy at The Park on Park Avenue in Mansfield.
So successful has it been that it is looking to expand, with teams competing for top-quality, bespoke, giant trophies and medals.
All matches, which last 40 minutes, are shown on Leisure Leagues’ own TV website, and are refereed by qualified officials who clamp down hard on any ill discipline. What’s more, all equipment is provided and all profits are donated to three worthy charities, Cancer Research, the Dogs Trust and Blind Children UK.
The cost per team is a one-off registration fee of £25, and then £29 per week. Any sides keen to join the latest Tuesday league in Mansfield can do so by ringing 03331 23230 or by logging on to the league’s website at www.leisureleagues.net.
Said a Leisure Leagues spokesman: “We always have a great evening of football, with some fantastic, well-fought fixtures.”
