South Normanton had been minutes away from winning the original tie before Lincoln hit a late leveller.

And Lincoln started the replay in just the same way they finished the game on Saturday and went 1-0 up after nine miutes when Danny Brooks scored a penalty.

It was 2-0 on 20 minutes when Jack McGovern hit a strike from 18 yards to put Lincoln in control.

South Normanton pulled a goal back on 33 minutes when Shane Newton finished well from a tight angle.

Newton was inches away from levelling when he hit the bar on 50 minutes after he had turned well.

South Normanton’s luck clearly wasn’t with them when Dave Leigh crashed an effort against the bar six minutes later.

Lincoln then hit the bar themselves in the final minute through Jordan Lemon as South Normanton’s FA Cup dream was ended.
