Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law has strengthened his squad ahead of the 2012/2013 Blue Square Bet Premier Division season by securing the services of two more players.
Law has brought in former Sheffield United and Blackpool goalkeeper Phil Barnes and central midfield player Dan Bradley from Kidderminster Harriers.
Barnes (33), is vastly experienced having served Sheffield United, Blackpool, Grimsby Town, Rotherham United, Torquay United and Queens Park Rangers in the Football League. He joins the Reds after leaving Conference North side Gainsborough Trinity for whom he had signed in April 2009. He has joined Alfreton on a one-year deal.
Dan Bradley is an attack-minded player and has joined the Reds on a two-year contract. He is a former Aston Villa trainee who progressed through the ranks at Villa Park on the way to earning a professional contract in the Premier League. He was unfortunately unable to make a breakthrough at Villa Park and after leaving, joined Tamworth where he impressed greatly over two seasons.
Alfreton have agreed a fee with Kidderminster under the Bosman Ruling for the 20-year-old.
