Medley leaves / Moult stays on / New date for Crawley trip

MANSFIELD Town striker Luke Medley has joined League Two side Aldershot on a month-long loan.

The 21-year-old, who arrived at Field Mill in the summer in a transfer assisted by The 12th Stag fund, has made 25 appearances for the Stags this season scoring six goals.

He has fallen out of favour more recently, however, and has not been selected by manager Duncan Russell since the club’s away trip to Darlington on 25th Januar,y paving the way for a move to Dean Holdsworth’s side.

Loan striker Louis Moult has extended his stay with the Stags for a further month.

The 18-year-old year old has impressed in his four starts since joining the Stags from Stoke City a month ago, notching two goals.

Manager Duncan Russell told www.mansfieldtown.net: “He’s a quality player who has played at a good level and I am delighted to have secured him for another month.

“He’s only played a handful of games for us so far but has shown me more than enough in that time.”

Mansfield Town’s Blue Square Bet Premier match away to promotion hopefuls Crawley has been moved to Tuesday 29th March (7.45pm) because of the Stags’ Chasetown FA Trophy postponement on Saturday, which led to the quarter final being rearranged for this Tuesday, 1st March, at The Scholars Ground.
