STAGS’ boss Paul Cox has moved to make his third signing, in the shape of experienced midfielder Paul Bolland.
The 31-year-old, who was voted as Macclesfield’s Town’s players’ player of the season last term, has put pen to paper on a two-year contract, after turning down a fresh deal at the Moss Rose.
Bolland, who has made over 400 appearances in a career spanning 14 years for Bradford, Notts County, Grimsby and Macclesfield, told mansfieldtown.net shortly after signing: “The ambitions of both the gaffer (Paul Cox) and the club are clear, so I’m happy to be here.
“I’ve met Paul a couple of times and you can tell he’s a winner who wants promotion - that is what attracted me and what I want to be a part of.”
He added: “You only have to look around the place to know that it should be in the Football League and that’s what we’ll all be working hard to try and achieve.”
