Mansfield Town supporters this morning queued up to snap up the last few tickets for Saturday’s mouthwatering title decider with Wrexham at the One Call Stadium.
The ground can hold just over 6,200 home supporters and those seats are now sold out. Capacity is 8,186 with 1,693 seats available for the away club.
If Stags win the game they will be back in the Football League after a five-year spell in the Conference.
But if they draw or lose, the door opens for second-placed Kidderminster Harriers to snatch the title if they can beat Stockport County at home.
Saturday’s visitors, Wrexham, are in third place and assured of a play-off spot. And their manager, Andy Morrell, said last night he wouldn’t be sending a full-strength side to Mansfield to avoid injury worries for the play-offs, though that may still be kidology.
Mansfield look set to be without full back Lee Beevers, whose shoulder dislocated again in last night’s memorable 2-1 win at Hereford United and wouldn’t go back into place on the pitch.
