Mansfield Town are the early front runners to secure promotion from League Two next season - without a ball being kicked!

Stags have made several additions this week as boss Steve Evans looks to build a squad capable of challenging at the top end of the table.

They finished four points short of the play-offs last time around but the club have set their sights higher for the 2017/18 campaign.

Sky Bet, sponsors of League Two, have the Stags at 13/8 with both Swindon Town and Lincoln City at 2/1.

Coventry City and Cambridge United are at 9/4 while Notts County, Wycombe Athletic and Colchester United are at 3/1.

The Stags’ Derbyshire rivals, Chesterfield - relegated from League One, are given 100/30 along with Stevenage and Accrington Stanley.
