JUNIOR Daniel turned in his best display in a Stags shirt in yesterday’s 2-1 win at Southport to take the man of the match accolades.
He terrorised the Sandgrounders with power and pace down the left wing and afterwards manager Paul Cox said: “Junior was man of the match by a country mile.
“The first time I had him we sold him into the Football League and, knowing what he can do, if he carries on like that he could have the world at his feet.
“He will get better and stronger through playing games.”
Daniel said: “That was probably my best game in a Mansfield shirt.
“I worked hard and the whole team worked hard and everyone helped each other.
“This was a difficult place to come and everyone is happy to get three points.
“The fact that the manager believes in me so much is a big help with my confidence.”
