Former Mansfield Town midfielder Lee Stevenson has joined Alfreton Town on a one-year contract.

Stevenson was released by Stags at the end of last season and becomes Nicky Law’s 10th signing of the summer.

It will be a second spell with the Reds for Stevenson (30), who had a one-month loan spell from the Stags back in October 2011 when he played three times for Alfreton.

Stevenson joined Mansfield after scoring 96 goals in three seasons with Belper Town and Eastwood Town before moving to Field Mill in the summer of 2011.

But despite scoring 17 goals in 54 games for Mansfield, he was unable to cement a regular place in the Mansfield Town starting line-up.

Meanwhile, Alfreton Town have added an additional home pre-season fixture to their itinerary.

Conference North club Solihull Moors will be visiting the Impact Arena on Friday, August 1st for a game which will kick-off at 7.45pm.

Admission prices will be reduced for this fixture and these will be announced when confirmed.
