Another weekend over, another away game ticked off the list and yet another away defeat making it four defeats from our last five away league trips – for a supposed promotion chasing team this isn’t good enough, something has to click soon.

If your reading this expecting me to join the ‘Cox Out’ train then you’re going to be disappointed, I still think he’s the man to get us success, I just think that he may need to hold his hands up and accept that in the summer we we’re too rash and then have the guts to act on it.

We finished last term on such a high but one moment knocked us off of the mountain top and back into the bottom. Instead of re-focussing and building on what we’d got like Forest Green did, we panicked and grabbed practically everyone we could from our rivals – it’s this which has failed us.

I can think of at least eight players that shouldn’t be here, we have a squad now which is too big to manage and keep settled, even with the reserve team in place.

I don’t want Cox to go because of this, because in his heart he was doing the best for the club by bringing in new faces that had enjoyed equally strong seasons, positives and positives push apart rather than stick together – what I want is a fresh slate, let’s whittle the numbers down and become more united in our approach to getting success.

Friday’s gone now, let’s hope the two costly mistakes have too – Slough, one of the lowest ranked teams in the competition, are next – we have to be ruthless and professional at the same time, basically we have to be who we truly are. COYS!
