MANSFIELD TOWN’S BSBP fixture against Barrow tonight has been postponed due to an unplayable pitch.
With light rain overnight, and more forecast later on today, local referee Russell Booth had no choice but to deem the waterlogged surface unplayable earlier this morning for this evening’s scheduled match
A new date has been set for this fixture on Tuesday, 12th April, kick-off 7.45pm.
Meanwhile, the Stags ticket office is open until 6pm tonight for season ticket holders wishing to purchase tickets for Mansfield’s FA Trophy Quarter Final tie away at Chasetown on 26th February.
Stags sold 300 tickets within the first hour of trading for the FA Trophy tie.
Fans formed a long queue outside the club’s ticket office when it opened for business at 9am today.
The club, who were given a total allocation of just 600 standing tickets, are advising supporters not to leave it too late to secure tickets for the latest chapter of the Stags’ road to Wembley.
Season ticket holders have until Friday to buy their tickets for the clash at The Scholars Ground strictly on a one per person basis. Any remaining tickets will go on sale on Monday 21st February. Tickets are £10 adults and £6 concessions.
