21.50: Stags won 3-0 at Barnsley in a behind closed doors friendly, Micky Boulding, Ryan Williams and John Leonard the goalscorers.
Saturday 10th July
17.35: Stags boss David Holdsworth says he hopes to bring striker brothers Micky and Rory Boulding back to Field Mill after both featured in the 1-0 friendly win over Sheffield United. Click here for poist-match reaction.

15.15: Versatile defender Mark Preece has today signed a one year deal with Mansfield Town. Click here for report.
10.30: Mansfield Town have appointed former Portsmouth and Jamaica winger Paul Hall as their new head of youth. Hall also played in the Premiership with Coventry City.

17.27: Stags striker Kyle Perry is understood to be signing for BSP rivals Tamworth today. Perry wanted a move back nearer his native West Midlands. He follows fellow striker Jake Speight's depature earlier this week as boss David Holdsworth seeks new faces to bolster his strikeforce. Click here for report.
Thursday 1st July
15.40: Stags will kick-off the new football season at home to Forest Green Rovers on Saturday, 14th August. Rovers were relegated at the end of last season but were reprieved when Salisbury City fell foul of Blue Square Conference rules regarding going into administration and were relegated instead. The match will see an instant return to Mansfield for two players released at the end of last season with Craig Armstrong now player-coach there and Luke Jones expected to line up in the centre of defence.
