Stags Talk - 26th February 2009
DAVID Holdsworth has finally tasted defeat at Mansfield Town as the Stags went down 1-0 to promotion-chasing Oxford United on Saturday.
While the defence continues to impress, the lack of goals at the other end of the pitch is still a cause for concern.
And on this week's Stags Talk we look at the striker search at Field Mill and discuss whether players like Daryl Clare and Ryan Williams, who have been linked with the club, could be the answer to the problem.
Host Stephen Thirkill once again takes the helm alongside passionate Stags' fan Tim Morriss and Chad sports editor John Lomas.
And joining the panel this week as a special guest is SSA joint-chairman Dean Foulkes, who will be talking about the change of atmosphere at the club under the stewardship of Andy Perry, Andy Saunders and Steve Middleton, and the improvement on the pitch since David Holdsworth took over as manager.
On top of all this, we talk to Jonathan D'Laryea about his position as skipper, and hear from Curtis Woodhouse as the Stags prepare to take on his old club Rushden and Diamonds.
