Goalkeeper Alan Marriott could be set for early return to Mansfield Town side

SHOT-STOPPER Alan Marriott could make an early return from injury against Ebbslfeet United on Saturday.
The veteran goalkeeper dislocated his shoulder in late September and was expected to be out until Christmas time.
But Marriott completed another 90 minutes during the 3-2 reserve defeat against Hartlepool earlier in the week.
Boss Paul Cox said: “Alan played another 90 minutes in a competitive reserve game. I want to goalkeepers who are competing for the same place.
“There is a healthy competition for a place in the team between Shane and Alan and if Alan is fit for Saturday then he will be back in contention.”
