It’s still neck and neck at the top of the Black Dragon Badges South Division with the leading four all winning.

Selston defeated Holbrook St Michaels 4-1 at the Parish Hall ground to maintain their one-point advantage at the top.

Two goals in the first 20 minutes set them on their way.

Ben Moore put away a penalty and Tom Widdowson swiftly doubled the score. Holbrook missed a penalty before half-time, but did pull a goal back through Emmanuel Freeman on 50 minutes.

Sean Gregory restored Selston’s two-goal lead seven minutes later and Daniel Henshaw completed the scoring on the hour.

Selston are one point clear of Eastwood Community, but have a game in hand on their nearest challengers.

They are also eight points clear of third-placed Sherwood, who are five points ahead of South Normanton Town.
