A last-gasp equaliser from Jessie Knott helped Notts County Ladies Senior Development Reserves overturn a two-goal defict to claim a 2-2 draw in the Notts Ladies Football League.
The Magpies were keen to put in a better performance after their disappointing showing the previous week, but things did not go well initially.
The team did play some excellent passing football and had large chunks of possession, but it was Clifton who got themselves in front when a free-kick was delivered into the box and went in for an own goal.
Clifton were also brighter at the start of the second half as County, with only 11 fit players available, found it tough going.
As a result, they soon went 2-0 in front, but the Magpies kept on fighting and winger Ashleigh Harris managed to get a cross in for striker Katrina Bloomer to score.
The goal changed everything and, as all the Notts players dug in, none more so than player of the match Lauren Wilson and captain Ellie Marriott, their efforts were rewarded.
With a minute to go, Jade Zoe Benniston produced a long free kick that bounced around the box until new signing Leah Chester kicked it goal-bound and Knott nipped in to restore the parity.
