Shirebrook looked to be strolling to victory when building a 3-0 lead against underdogs Loughborough University, who had missed the first of the tie’s spot-kicks, blazing over the bar after just two minutes. But in a crazy final 15 minutes, the home side wiped out the deficit to draw level at 3-3 with one goal from Josh Hill and two on 86 and 88 minutes from Andrew Bridge, including a penalty.

Amazingly, there was still time for Shirebrook to restore their lead when Kyle Lilley converted from the spot. But fully nine minutes into added time, Loughborough snatched another equaliser, through Jeremiah Dasalou, to force a replay at Langwith Road on Tuesday night.
