Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law has strengthened his squad by signing experienced former Burton Albion striker Shaun Harrad on contract until the end of the season following his release by Bury.

He began his career with Notts County before moving on to the Brewers where he had six seasons. England C International Harrad moved on to Northampton Town in the 2010/11 season and then joined Bury the following season.

With the Shakers, where he played 44 times, Harrad, 29, had loan spells with Rotherham United and Cheltenham Town.

Meanwhile, the Reds have allowed Jack Andrews to go out on loan to Stocksbridge Park Steels and he will be with the Evostik Northern Premier League Premier Division club until February 22 inclusive.
