Bilsthorpe defeated the weather and Brodsworth Welfare 3-2 to climb the Central Midlands North table.
Bilsthorpe were two up at half-time through Gavin King and Liam Black.
The visitors hit back with goals from Josh Dodd and Bradley Maddison, with a goal from Mark Carter’s proving to be the match winner.
It was one of just four matches to take place as a combination of snowbound, waterlogged and frozen pitches decimated Saturday’s fixtures.
Newark Town and Askern deservedly finished all square on a perfect pitch at Collingham.
Arron Martin put Newark in front on 52 minutes, before Gaz Mundy equalised for Askern in the 70th minute.
Thorne Colliery and Appleby Frodingham also shared the points in a 2-2 draw at Moorends.
Brett Thomas and Aiden Marshall’s goals for the home side were cancelled out by Nathan Watson and Dayle Hutson for Frod.
Only one game was possible in the Black Dragon Badges South division, where Southwell City overcame the handicap of playing with 10 men for over 70 minutes to pull off a very creditable 3-3 draw against second-placed Bulwell.
The Bulls went two up in the first 20 minutes with goals from Jake Fisher and Adam Whitehead.
They held the lead until just after the break when Chris Bowles pulled one back for Southwell.
Fisher restored the two goal advantage, but two goals in the space of a minute by Billy Pycroft and Marlon Waites gave the Minstermen a welcome point.
